I've been a musician all my life. I've been a ranch-hand, a minister, a boxer, a locksmith, a janitor, a motel manager and a bartender. I grew up on a farm and in the Wichita public schools system. I've lived in Kansas, Oregon, Texas and California. I was recently featured in a documentary about musicians called "Don't Quit Your Daydream". I've produced over 40 records, owned two independent record labels, worked with geniuses and lived like a king. I’ve played on stage with Proud Mary, Robert Plant, The Holy Modal Rounders, Peter Rowan and The Dandy Warhols.
