DESCRIPTION:
"Raised" in a music based home, Stephen Burns started his musical career in St. Louis, MO. He replaced Lead Singer of a local "Boys Band" of the time ... "The Majesties". That singer (Michael McDonald) was leaving the band to join THE DOOBY BROTHERS. Steve Scorfina was in "R.E.O." also, the original "Pavlov's Dog". Scorfina, McDonald and Burns changed the name of "Mike and the Majesties" to Local Legendary "Good Feelin' Band" ... with the history this band of brothers have lived up to the name of this song which Stephen Burns penned in the '60's. Scorfina , Burns, McDonnell recently had a reunion with the rest of the alum school mates evolved in the bands that were instrumental in paving the style of '60's music that baby boomers here in the area had the privilege to enjoy on a late Friday or Saturday Night!. Stephen Burns now sings for both the Scorfina Band and "The Stoneyend Band" where other longtime classmates and band mates stemming from "The Good Feelin' Band" and other garage bands in the '60s blazed the way sponsored by KSHE Radio Station and guest appearances with "Johnny Rabbit" Scorfina's son, Jon Osia Scorfina, Produced the International Film Festival recipient documentary made by Mike Steinberg & Thomas Crone "Old Dog, New Trick" and "The Pride of St. Louis". Two separate short films on local heroes "Mama's Pride" (Featuring Brothers Pat and Danny Liston) the documentary DVD on the life of Steve Scorfina and St. Louis Americana of the '60's and a relaunch of the artist careers after raising their families. It's been great personally for me to see these guys play since they played at our HS Class dances as well. Couple of the Places Scorfina remembers was ARCs and Forkeyville. Liston Bros. played at Night Gallery and Fat Cats.
