DESCRIPTION:
I started a project with my friend and colleague to create a piece derived entirely from a film.
We were inspired by Pogo's efforts, and ultimately chose 2001: A Space Odyssey, and spent enormous amounts of time watching the film over and over, listening for sounds that intrigued us to sample, stretch out, and slow down in order to create two short interludes, each of them our own, woven together to create a complete piece.

We then decided to take the music we created and edit the footage of 2001 to accompany the music. This is the result, unfortunately we don't have the capacity (or disk space) to edit in high definition.
