She was part of the disco-group "TRINITY" and received the "Most outstanding performance award" at the Korean Song Festival.
Her song "I love you" was a big succes in the Far East in the early 80's.
With her album "When morning comes", Sofie confirms her exceptional status as a jazz singer and on the album "So far so good" she showed the world that she could cope with different styles like pop, jazz, funk & soul.
Her remarkable duet with soul-legend Bobby Wommack "I wanna know what love is" can be found on the album "Love loops" from 1995.
More ecently she recorded an evergreen cd with the Classical Orchestra - The Beethoven Academy conducted by Dirk Brossé.
