From Season 9. The song was sung by Kermit the Frog, with the Tarnish Brothers providing back-up vocals. The song is a declaration of Kermit's independence and determination to succeed. This song teaches about self confidence. I also added some clips from Sesame Street Celebrates Around the World to make the Sesame Street characters look like they were singing along, because when the song was listed on Aren't You Glad You're You?, it says that Kermit was backed up by a cast of millions.. Backup vocals were provided by Jerry Nelson, Richard Hunt, and Christopher Cerf. Written by Sam Pottle and David Axlerod and directed by Jon Stone.
