"Sacramentum" the debut full-length record from Bristol/Paris based death metal trio IMPERIUM comes out online worldwide December 11th 2012.

"Bristol, UK/Paris, FR death metal trio IMPERIUM will release their debut full-length album entitled "Sacramentum" on December 11th via New Division Records.

IMPERIUM features guitarist Robert Purnell, also founder of the furious british heavyweights TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED (Candlelight Records), frontman Steve Garner vocalist of the french blackened death outfit THE BRIDAL PROCESSION (Siege of Amida Records) as well as guitar virtuoso Mike Alexander.

"Sacramentum" was produced and recorded by Robert Purnell over the course of 2011 and mixed/mastered by Chuck Creese (BURNING SKIES) in Bristol, UK.

Vocalist Steve Garner issued the following: "When Mike first sent me all album pre-productions I was so impressed that I couldn't have passed on the opportunity offered to me to bring my vocals to this album, so I travelled all the way up from Paris to rainy England and tracked everything over a memorable week-end. "Sacramentum" is from start to finish a merciless beast that listeners will have a hard time taming."

For the album art, the band enlisted italian designer Fabio Bonetti to capture the essence of the band's concept around the Roman Empire's massive domination and impact over the ancient civilized world. From the early campaigns, to the glorious decades, all the way to the fall of the empire, "Sacramentum" will transport you on one of the most brutal and relentless historical based releases you may have ever heard before.
