Climbing PoeTree performs live at the second annual Word*Rock*&Sword: A Musical Celebration of Women curated by Toshi Reagon! Alixa and Naima were backed by a beautiful band for this momentous occasion featuring: Toshi Reagon & Alex Nolan on guitar, Allison Miller on Drums, Christelle Durandy on congas, Ganessa James on Bass, Gwen Snyder Siegal on keys, and Lyris Hung on violin.

This herstoric event went down on September 22nd at (Le) Poisson Rouge in NYC with a powerful conver-gence of profoundly talented women raising it up on one stage!!
