DESCRIPTION:
F.A.C.E. is a project spear-headed thru the vision of Yusuf Bauswell & Bernard Jackson as a sort of "We Are The World" song for the city of Flint. Yusuf along with Bernard and 11 other independent recording artists from the City of Flint has come together in a collaborative effort of talents to send a message of hope and peace to the community.

What started out as 2 friends coming together with an idea has now turned into a major movement in this community. With both positive and negative emotions the song has made such headlines as the Flint Journal, ABC 12, and NBC 25 News.

This project which includes the full version single of the title track "We Gone Make It (The Fight Ain't Yours Alone)", the instrumental version, as well a full length music video, and a T-shirt with song's logo, is also available upon the release date of June 20th, 2011. Yusuf Bauswell, Bernard Jackson Jr., Cherry Givens, Grace Thomas, The Jackson Sisters, Stan Da Man, Lyn Garrett, Kianna Meek, Desomnd Hodge, Chris O., Derrick Turner, Jerry Givens Jr., & Mychelle Simms make up the Flint Area Community Ensemble F.A.C.E. and they each in their respective lifes take part in some type of musical activity.

In coming together with the inspirational track "We Gone Make It" F.A.C.E. has decided to give The Whaley Children's Center half of the proceeds from the record sales. We just want to help and this is the best way for all of us to do so. By doing what we do and that's singing!!
