DESCRIPTION:
For the second video release from their new album ‘Align’, Shaa'ir +Func worked with Swiss photographer and filmmaker Joel Sames.
It was shot in 2012 in an old Bandra apartment staircase and showcases Mumbai`s independent underground music and party scene.
At the height of Mumbai's restrictions on nightlife, events were forced to take place at underground places like this venue.
The video is a highly dynamic, innovative mix of techniques that include Stop Motion and Still Animation. It has been work in progress for the last 2 years.
