Rykarda Parasol is an American solo artist from San Francisco now living part-time in Paris, France. Since 2003, Parasol has been writing and recording her personal tales woven in dark narrative. In late 2015, Parasol released her fourth full-length album “The Color of Destruction”. Often compared to literary notables as well as musical ones, Parasol's work is an eclectic mix. Her work is firmly grounded in her cinematic lyrics accompanied by sounds moving fluidly between Murder Ballad, Motown, American folk, Brit pop and 60s Psychedelia.
