Rose Spearman is ready for her amazing new adventure! Check out her latest blog about her new album!
.Rose started her career when she jumped on stage to sing along with a DJ. This spontaneous action got noticed and in no time she started working with some of the world greatest DJ's/producers like Roger Sanches, Boris Dlugosch, Kerri Chander, Joe T. Vannelli, to name a few. Rose traveled around the globe, from Ibiza to New York, from Italy to Miami, performing at various big venues and festivals. During this period Rose started writing tracks for a solo album. Singing with the DJ's was wonderful, but the urge to record a solo album was so much bigger.

In 2003 Rose released her first album named 'Trust', a pop album with a jazz feel. This album was recorded in LA with the notorious King Britt and James Poyser. In the recording studio she met Larry Gold (John Ledgend, N*E*R*D, Jill Scott, amongst others) and he offered to arrange the strings on her recordings. In 2006 she became the lead vocalist of Kraak & Smaak and wrote 'Ready for Live' for their album 'Plastic People'. In 2007 her second album was released: 'Living It'. In a reaction of her touring around the globe with Kraak & Smaak, she went back to basic and recorded her album mainly at home. Meanwhile Kraak & Smaak received an Ebba Award in the category 'Most selling International Dutch Act'. With Kraak & Smaak she increased her airmiles while flying from festival to festival like Pinkpop, Lowlands (NL), Glastonbury (UK), Ultra Music Festival (Miami) and Coachella (Palm Springs). Rose had great success being the leading lady and singer of Kraak & Smaak in the USA, where they also performed at a nation-wide TV performance in the Jimmy Kimmel show.
.

Again, the urge to write and record a solo album made her decide to leave Kraak & Smaak. This decision was supported by the fact that many people, most from the USA, asked for another solo album. In 2010 she started her search for the right producers, who could translate her sound. A renewed sound, where Rose returned to her roots of electronic (dance) music but now with strong pop songs. She was introduced to Liz Hooper and Andrew Bojanic, the producersduo The Wizards of Oz. It was an instant success.
The 3rd album of Rose will see light of day in September 2011.
" I discovered my priority is life itself. However, I also discovered that making music & singing is an absolute necessity for me."
