Release Info:
The 43rd release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital sees the return of Dutch phenomenon Roger Martinez. His previous release titled 'Acid Culture' with Mike Griego has been a highlight in the label's discography. His new EP is a tremendous follow-up and the kind of quality you would expect from such an exceptionally talented producer.

Roger approaches dance music from an emotional perspective that goes beyond genres and formats. In his own words, "Music must contain mystery, harmony, and melody. These elements are the key to human emotions and feelings." This vision lies at the basis of Roger's quick rise to the forefront of the dance scene. Although he keeps his musical crosshairs aimed at the full musical spectrum, he has gained support and respect from a wide scope of DJ's including Hernan Cattaneo, Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Fedde Le Grand, Stephan Bodzin, Laurent Garnier, Guy J, and many more.

The package begins with 'That Vibe', a dark and chugging Techno track that hooks the listener in with its hypnotizing bassline. On the complete opposite end of the spectrum is 'Santoor', a blissful and positive tune clearly inspired by the golden era of Progressive House. The two productions provide the perfect yin and yang and showcase Roger's enormous range and diverse palette of sounds.

The sole remix is provided by D-Formation and Rick Pier O'Neil. These two friends hail from Spain and France respectively and their recent successful collaborations on Toolroom and Stereo Productions have been turning heads in the industry.

With over 25 years in the industry, Dimas Carbajo aka D-Formation is one of the most respected electronic music artists across the world. Proof of that is his album 'Madrid' for Deep Dish's Yoshitoshi and enormous back catalog on Sony Music, Virgin, EMI, Toolroom, Cr2 Records, Stereo Productions, and many more. Numerous prizes as a DJ and producer vouch for all the years of hard work in his profession. It's also noteworthy to recognize his #39 position in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJ's (2006), the highest ranking that a Spanish DJ has ever achieved.

Rick Pier O'Neil started as a DJ in a French club when he was 14. He became a sound engineer and created his first studio at 16. With the emerging House music movement, he was soon working with major labels Sony Music, Universal, Motown, and Polygram as a remixer for Kool and the Gang, Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer, Lenny Kravitz, Ultra Nate, and CeCe Peniston. He launched his own imprints Garbage Records in 2004 and RPO Records in 2005, focusing on the dark Progressive and Tribal House that was popular at the time. After experiencing much success in both mainstream and underground arenas of dance music, Rick left France, moved to Barcelona, and eventually settled in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. He has produced over 500 titles up to now under various aliases and his passion for music has fueled a career that has lasted over 30 years. More recently, he was named the winner of Darin Epsilon and Cid Inc's Beatport remix contest for 'Outliers' alongside Michael and Levan and Stiven Rivic
