Roger Berkeley plays 'Lord I Need You' (Matt Maher) at the inaugural Providence Records Showcase, 4 March 2017

"The highlight of my career to date is playing 'Lord I Need You' at the Every Time launch. Even better than seeing a room full of people singing 'Every Time' - a song I wrote when I was 17 - was the realisation that there was a bar in Dublin City where people were singing praises to God at the top of their voices. Christians being unashamedly Christian in the public square, with non-Christians looking on in awe and confusion from the bar, wondering what we had that they didn't.

Wiping a tear from my eye, I finished the song, knowing that God was doing something special through me. I needed no more persuasion that Providence Records had to happen. Four months later, on the same stage, Providence Records hosted its first showcase." - Roger Berkeley

Providence Records is Ireland's first and only music company exclusively supporting music artists who promote Christian values. Founded in 2017, the Providence Records showcases were launched in Tivoli Backstage, Dublin, on 4 March, headlined by Cormac Buckley and with support from Roger Berkeley and Pio & Anthony Hartnett.

Roger Berkeley is a piano-driven rock artist from Dublin, Ireland. He released his debut single, 'Every Time' in association with the post-abortion support group, Women Hurt, to raise awareness of the tragedy of abortion regret. The video has more than 175,000 YouTube hits and received media coverage around the world.
Roger is following up on 'Every Time' with the release of a mini-album, ;Going For Gold' in June 2017.
