For many years the Mariachi musicians who came to Los Angeles, after arriving here, would go to the Boyle Hotel in East LA. They would have friends living there and many of them would move in there themselves. After awhile the old hotel came to be known as the Mariachi Hotel as it was mostly the Mariachi's living there.

Some of the best musicians in the world they worked hard and they struggled. Many of them would adopt names and identities for themselves, names like the falcon or the dragon and make that a part of their uniform.

Saint Cecilia, patron saint of musicians makes an appearance here, weeping over devoted souls she can only pray for.
