Brown Field Mouse in the bottom of the floor,
Can't get out of the kitchen door,
Mamma Cam in with a big fat shoe,
And SPLAT we had some field mouse stew!

Possum belly, corn bread, watermelon rind,
Them's some o' the things we like just fine,
Lookin' through the woods for a real good treat,
Th' Aint much around that we won't eat!

Cat an' dog had a fight on the ground,
Stirrin' up dust goin' round 'n' round,
Doggy won the fight cos' he's the best,
When he gets done we'll eat the rest!

Redbird sittin' in a pumpkin patch,
Got a little egg that she wants to hatch,
Pappa's in the garden with his big bare feet,
Stole that egg and commenced to eat!

Did a little fishin' in a catfish farm,
Fish can't resist a little grub worm charm,
Fished all day without nary a bite,
Went back home had grub delight!

Polecat came to my house one day,
Got so scared that he sprayed his spray,
Bubba snuck up and caught his tail,
Tastes so good despite the smell!

Field mouse came back to life again,
Gonna fight mamma and he plan to win,
Fight went on about three or four days...
Can't find mamma cos' she run away!
