DESCRIPTION:
Nathan Kipp aka "DubFace" is a dj/producer from Los Angeles, CA. Combining the concept of traditional reggae Djing with modern digital production techniques, Dubface has integrated a new form of the traditional Jamaican deejay show. Using an APC40 and Ableton Live, DubFace has created a custom "Riddim" template, re-creating over 100 classic reggae/dancehall versions. Every song is multi-tracked & capable of dubbing on the fly through an assortment of delays and reverbs. DubFace can then custom tailor a mix around an MC free-styling on the spot.

As much as possible, DubFace feature's episodes of various reggae/dancehall artists live & direct from his studio (Black Oak Studios) located in Los Angeles, CA. Episode 4 features one of Reggae music's most famous DeeJay MC's of all time, non other than "Ranking Joe"!!
