DESCRIPTION:
The Shire Foundation is a registered charity organisation and was founded in 2008. The main objective of the foundation is providing essential services and assistance to the local community.
Its founding trustees are Somali and non-Somali members of the legal profession or related practitioners who are concerned about the over representation of Somali youth in the criminal justice system and the extreme social exclusion within the Somali community.
One of our main objectives is to assist Somali youth within the local community so in return they become productive members of society and give back to their community.

The shire foundation is committed to open its centre so the Somali youth within the local community have a place where they receive booster courses and also participate in sporting activities.
