Raffaela Siniscalchi nasce a Roma nel 1972 e comincia a cantare nel 1988 come voce solista in gruppi rock-blues e jazz nei più importanti locali della capitale.
La passione per il jazz e per un uso anche strumentale della voce la porta ad approfondire le molteplici possibilità di uno strumento così duttile , affascinante e misterioso, attraverso stages con Fabrizia Barresi ,Maria Pia de Vito, Mark Murphy, Norma Winstone, Barbra Liefer, e con il trombettista e compositore Kenny Wheeler.
Da allora, il jazz e l'improvvisazione vissuti in tutte le loro molteplici forme, utilizzati come linguaggi capaci di aprire la mente e strumenti di espressione profonda, diventano il filtro per affrontare le esperienze musicali e teatrali più varie .
Nel '93 ha fatto parte del progetto discografico "Eso" di Paolo Damiani, sulla forma-canzone, come voce solista al fianco di Paolo Fresu, Roberto Gatto, Danilo Rea e Gianluigi Trovesi.
Nella rassegna "Sir Duke" nel 1994 ha interpretato brani di Duke Ellington ospite del M°Giorgio Gaslini.
Appassionata di musica etnica e popolare, collabora dal '93 a progetti differenti.
Da rielaborazioni di brani della tradizione popolare siciliana nel"Ulisse e l'ombra" diretta dal M°Bruno Tommaso insieme alla Marche jazz Orchestra , al progetto sulla canzone romanesca con il gruppo "La Porta Magica", da la musica kletzmer dei "Klezroym", alla rielaborazione di antichi brani in dialetto foggiano con la "Daunia orchestra" di Umberto Sangiovanni, sino al gruppo di musica popolare "Arkè" con il quale è ospite nel 2000 del "II European youth festival" di Ankara.
In teatro è stata nel 1995 la protagonista femminile del "Fantasma dell'opera" di A.L.Webber in un allestimento in forma-concerto al Teatro Ghione di Roma.
Nel 1996 e nel '97 è stata la voce del "Canto d'amore e morte dell'alfiere Cristoph Rilke" di R.M.Rilke per la regia di Lisi Natoli , nel '98 è cantante-attrice del "Faust" di F.Pessoa in un adattamento teatrale scritto e diretto da Marina Francesconi .
Nel 2005 è stata interprete insieme ad Edoardo Sylos Labini dello spettacolo dedicato al movimento futurista di Tommaso Marinetti "Donne-Velocità-Pericolo" , diretto da Viola Pornaro e Francesco Sala.
Con gli stessi registi ha lavorato nel 2006 come cantante-attrice dello spettacolo "Luci dal Varietà" ispirato all'avantspettacolo degli anni '30 '40.
Ha cantato in "Kronopios e Famas", spettacolo scritto dal compositore Fabrizio Cardosa ed ispirato al romanzo di J.Cortazar, è stata inoltre autrice ed interprete de " Il sorriso del gatto di Alice", performance teatrale e musicale liberamente ispirata al celebre romanzo di L.Carroll.
Dal 2002 al 2004 fa parte del quartetto vocale medievale "La dolce vista".
Nel 2003 viene scelta da Nicola Piovani come interprete per lo spettacolo "Concerto Fotogramma" ed entra a far parte de "La compagnia della Luna".
Nel 2006 è' una delle voci soliste de "La Cantata dei cent'anni" opera scritta dal M° Piovani per il centenario della CGL ed eseguita dalla Roma Sinfonietta con le voci recitanti di Gigi Proietti e Massimo Wertmuller e dello spettacolo "Il Signor '900" con Lello Arena Norma Martelli ed Aisha Cerami.
Collabora, sempre per il M° Piovani, all'allestimento dell'opera "L'isola della luce" come sostituta della cantante israeliana Noa e a "Le Cantate del fiore e del Buffo" e al più recente "Concha Bonita"per la regia di Alfredo Arias.
Nel 2005 è ospite del Festival "MusicalCinema" al teatro Mancinelli di Orvieto dove esegue un omaggio al compositore Fiorenzo Carpi insieme a Nicola Piovani ed a Germano Mazzocchetti.
Nel febbraio del 2006 partecipa alla rassegna "Le città del Jazz" al Teatro Sistina di Roma accompagnata dalla big band diretta da Massimo Nunzi ed esegue un omaggio alla blues-vocalist degli anni '20 Bessie Smith.

She is born in Rome in 1972 and begins to sing in 1988 as lead singer in rock-blues and jazz bands in the most important clubs of the Italian capital, Roma.

From reworks of songs of the Sicilian popular tradition in "Ulisse e L'Ombra" directed by Maestro Bruno Tommaso with the Marche jazz Orchestra, to the project on the Roman songs with the band "La Porta Magica", from kletzmer music of the band "Klezroym", to the rework of ancient songs in the typical language of the city of Foggia in Puglia (south Italy) with the "Daunia orchestra" of Umberto Sangiovanni, to the popular music of "Arkè" with which she is host in 2000 of the "II European youth festival" of Ankara.
She has been the feminine protagonist of the "Phantom of the Opera" of A.L. Webber in the Ghione Theatre of Rome,it was a concert form.
In 1996 and 1997 she has been the voice of the "Song of love and death of the flagman Cristoph Rilke" of R.M. Rilke directed by Lisi Natoli, in 1998 she is singer-actress of the "Faust" of F. Pessoa in a written and directed theatrical adaptation of Marina Francesconi.
In 2005 she has been interpreter with Edoardo Sylos Labini of the show dedicated to the futurist movement of Tommaso Marinetti "Donne-Velocità-Pericolo", directed by Viola Pornaro and Francesco Sala.
With the same directors she has worked in 2006 as singer-actress in the show "Lights from the Variety" inspired to the Italian "avantspettacolo" of years '30 - '40.
She has sung in "Kronopios and Famas", show written by the composer Fabrizio Cardosa and inspired to the novel of J. Cortazar, has been more over author and interpreter of the "the smile of the cat of Alice", theatrical and musical performance freely inspired to the celebre novel of L.Carroll.
From 2002 to 2004 she is part of the medieval vocal quartet "La Dolce Vista".
In 2003 she starts to work with the Oscar award Maestro Nicola Piovani (author of the soundtrack of the Roberto Benigni movie "La Vita e' Bella") as interpreter for the show "Concerto Fotogramma" La Compagnia della Luna".
In 2006 she is one of the soloist voices de " La Cantata dei cent'anni " written by Maestro N. Piovani with the Big Orchestra "Roma Sinfonietta ".
In 2006 she is also part of the show "Il Signor 900" with Lello Arena and Norma Martelli.
She continues to collaborate with Maestro N. Piovani for the preparation of the show "L'Isola della Luce" as substitute of the Israelian singer Noa , for
"La Cantata del fiore e del Buffo" and to the most recent "Concha Bonita" for the direction of Alfredo Arias.
In 2005 he is host of the Festival "Musica / Cinema" at the Mancinelli theatre of Orvieto where she executes an homage to the composer Fiorenzo Carpi with Nicola Piovani and Germano Mazzocchetti.
In February 2006 she participates at the festival "The cities of the Jazz" at the Sistina Theatre of Rome accompanied by the big band directed by Massimo Nunzi where she played an homage to the blues-vocalist of the '20s', Bessie Smith. In october 2007 during the "Festival the Outuno"in Madrid ,Spain, she sing in "Concerto Fotogramma" with Maestro Nicola Piovani the wonderful spanish version of the song "Life is Beautiful". E'"Vocal coach" dal 1994 e ha insegnato nelle più prestigiose scuole di musica della capitale.
Dal 2008 è Membro della Giuria di selezione del"Festival di Castrocaro".
