DESCRIPTION:
For many in creative professions, especially those who are particular about the clients and partners they work with, artistic endeavors alone don't pay nearly enough to provide financial stability-- even highly respected members of various artistic communities find themselves balancing creative alter egos with day jobs just to keep the lights on.

This episode dips into the lives of three members of the Raleigh creative scene: Tab-One, an MC from the classic North Carolina hip-hop group Kooley High; J-Sol, a graphic designer, painter and artist who specializes in poster and album art, and is credited with establishing the visual side to Kooley High; and Sameer Abdel-Khalek aka FISDJ, a music video director and photographer who has worked both with Kooley High and Raleigh up-and-comer King Mez.
