The young guitarist Mario Romano, presents his first acoustic album "Turn This Way" (Kymotto Music Ed.). It consists of 14 tracks, the last of which realized in collaboration with the pianist and composer Daniele Pozzovio and the guitarist Ignazio di Salvo.
"Turn This Way" is an highly refined concept album, the latest result of the pursuit of the artist. The album will be released on November 3 on iTunes.
Mario Romano writes:
"Turn This Way" is a small warning to those who let indifference overcomes them. To those who go through our time unaware of things happening around. It's an invitation to turn around, to look at what transforms the lives of many people with an inner gaze, at what hangs over countless lives marking them with tiring hours and days. We should turn round. We should participate. We should be moved... I wrote this fragments of existence by imagining a continuous flow of events that have marked and still mark our history today. 'Turn this way' is the main concept of this work (it's a concept album, indeed). All we need to "turn this way" sooner or later ... for the general welfare, for love, for the human desire to take part in the flow of things, to... improve them (I hope). So ... Turn This Way! "

"Turn This Way" è un piccolo monito a chi si lascia vincere dall'indifferenza. A chi attraversa il nostro tempo ignaro delle cose che accadono intorno. Un invito a voltarsi, a guardare con sguardo interiore ciò che trasforma le vite di molti, ciò che segna e pesa su un'infinità di esistenze e ne affatica le ore ed i giorni. Bisognerebbe voltarsi. Bisognerebbe partecipare. Bisognerebbe lasciarsi toccare... Ho scritto questi frammenti di esistenza immaginando un continuo flusso di avvenimenti che hanno segnato e continuano a segnare la nostra storia. 'Voltati da questa parte' è il concetto fondamentale di questo lavoro(essendo appunto un concept album). Tutti abbiamo bisogno di voltarci prima o poi... per il benessere generale, per amore, per il naturale desiderio umano di partecipare al flusso delle cose per... migliorarle(spero). Quindi...Turn This Way!!!"
