Puyo Puyo 7 Soundtrack - Daihenshin! - Video
PUBLISHED:  Nov 29, 2009
DESCRIPTION:
Definitely my favourite music in the game. This is the music used in Daihenshin, which means 'Great Transformation'.

Sega made a hash in naming the mode however. They clearly defined each henshin state as Piko and Deka, where Piko means small and Deka means large, however in the henshin select they label Piko as 'Chibi'. Many people mistake the Daihenshin mode to be based on the character design as typically, the characters have 'Chibi' and 'Adult' forms in this mode, but Daihenshin refers to the grid size only and not the characters. There could be a theory that Sega couldn't decide on what to call 'Small Transformation' and rather just named the mode Chibi in the henshin select based on the fact that the majority of the cast have Chibi/Adult forms. Characters like Dark Arle and Ekoro do not specifically, and Carbuncle doesn't change at all.

That said, transliterally, Piko means Mini, and Deka means Mighty. Go figure I guess.
