Il Pure Love sound nasce da un gruppo di amanti della reggae music, dalla divisione dei Jamaica Go-Go fondato da Johnny Radics, che inizialmente li ha introdotti a questa musica e che, nelle prime danz durante l'inverno del 2001, li ha portati con lui a suonare. All'inizio la crew si chiamava diversamente, ma dal 2003, anno in cui si può collocare l'effettiva nascita del sound e dell'attuale progetto, prende il nome di Pure Love, attualmente composto da Cheema (Dj-Selecta/engineer), MrChillum (Mc/engineer), Koala (dj-selecta), Davidone (Mc/singer).
In questi anni il Pure Love si è esibito in vari locali e spiagge italiani (Abruzzo, Marche, Molise, Emilia-Romagna, Puglia, Lazio, Toscana, Umbria, Roma) e in Europa (Belgio, Olanda, Francia), ha organizzato dancehall ed eventi, collaborato con vari artisti, club e sound system e suonato in occasione di alcuni concerti live, come quelli di Junior Kelly, Ras Shiloh, The Ruggedman, Ziggy Marley, Youssou Ndour, Steel Pulse (in Francia a Tolosa). Tra le altre importanti featuring che il Pure Love può vantare ci sono: Prince Alla (Jam), Lone Ranger (Jam), Reggie Stepper (Jam), SoundKillaz (Jam), Killa Face (USA/Jam), Shashamane Int'l (Kn), Silver Star (UK), X-TA-C 4x4 (UK), Soul Stereo (Fr), Killdemcrew (Fr), Good Vibration (Au), HeartBeat Movement (Be), City Lock (D), Jamrock Sound (NL), Keytown (Nl), Senitnel (D), Phlatline Sound (D), G-Force Sound (D), Soundbwoys Destiny (D), The Rootsman (UK), Calaloo (Fr), Jamafrica (SN), oltre agli italiani Brusco, Gramigna, Villa Ada, Roots inna mix, One Love Hi Powa, Macro Marco, Combostyle, I-Shence, Dancehall Soldiers, Northern Lights, High Grade, Golden Bass, Bass fi Mass, Bashfire, Kalibandulu, Cuba Cabbal e Dj Disastro, Italian Dancehall Queens; oltre a tantissimi altri sound nazionali e tutti i sound abruzzesi. Tra le immagini (e nell'album "Flyers") troverete molte altre featuring del Pure Love in questi anni.
L'attività del sound cresce costantemente dalla sua nascita fino ad oggi: dai duri inizi nelle danz illegali in spiaggia, alla collaborazione più o meno costante con il reggae club Negril (dalla sua apertura fino ai primi mesi del 2k7) ed il Club Zone, al ruolo di resident presso il Tichy nel 2k6, il Groove/Plinius nell'estate 2k7 e in tutte le stagioni 2k7/2k8, 2k8/2k9 e 2k9/2010 nella danzhall pescarese del sabato sera "MASSIVE NIGHT", ideata e condotta insieme allo storico club Wake Up! e il Balooba sound, con i quali è stato anche il promotore dei festival reggae internazionali a Pescara "Int'l Stuff" prima (Maggio 2k8), seconda (Novembre 2k8) e terza edizione (Gennaio 2010). Durante l'estate 2k9 ha dato vita a "Summer Delight" la quindicinale danzhall estiva sul mare in combo con il Balooba sound e lo stabilimento Tahiti (staff 76), ed è stato uno dei sound resident della danzhall sulla spiaggia presso l' HNP (Lido Hotel nel Pineto) entrambi sul lungomare pescarese. Da quest'anno "Summer Delight" diventa settimanale e si sposta a Le Canarie Beach Club (staff Toki Club).
Dal 2004 conduce il programma radio "MASSIVE"
sulle frequenze di Radio Città Pescara Popolare Network e on-streaming web, sempre insieme ai bredrin del Balooba Sound.

Pure Love sound rises from a crew of reggae addicted, from the splitting of Jamaica Go-Go sound founded by Johnny Radics, who first introduced dem to reggae music and then brought dem to play with him in earlier dancehall events during the 2001 winter season. In the beginning the crew was named different, but since 2003, when we can put the actual birth of the sound and the present project, it changes the name to Pure Love, which memberes are now Cheema (Dj-Selecta/engineer), MrChillum (Mc/engineer), Koala (dj-selecta), Davidone (Mc/singer).

The activity of the crew grows constant from his born till today: from the rough begins with illegal dancehalls on the beaches, to the almost constant cooperation with the reggae club Negril (from its opening to early 2k7) and the Club Zone, to the role of resident sound at Tichy club during 2k6, the Groove/Plinius (during summer 2k7), and during whole 2k7/2k8, 2k8/2k9 and 2k9/2010 seasons in the saturday night danzhall "MASSIVE NIGHT" created and run with the famous club Wake Up! and Balooba sound, with who Pure Love even promoted the first (May 2k8), second (November 2k8), and third edition (January 2010) of the international reggae festival in Pescara named "Int'l Stuff". During summer 2k9 Pure love runs the "Summer Delight" danzhall show in combination with Balooba sound promoted by Tahiti beach club (staff outta 76), and was one of the sound resident of the beach danzhall yard at HNP, both on the seaside of Pescara. This year "Summer Delight" keeps going and moves to Le Canarie beach club (staff outta Toki Club).
Since 2004 Pure Love conducts the radio show "MASSIVE" on Radio Città Pescara and on-streaming web, featured by Balooba sound.
