This is a video demonstrating the five polar pattens on the AKG C414 XLS microphone, I used a Taylor 314ce acoustic guitar and had the C414 running into an AMS Neve 1073 preamp. Mic was positioned further away than normal, just over a foot, pointing at the 14th fret.
