Nomadic Wax, Multiflora Productions and pH Music continue the showcase of artists at the forefront of global hip hop culture with the upcoming event Beats to the Rhyme happening Friday, January 24 at the Dunes in Columbia Heights in DC. An offshoot of the popular Internationally Known hip hop series which served to highlight live performances by dope artists from around the globe, this time out the event features the stateside talents of the Poem-cees, Hired Gun and international hip hop champion and representative Dumi Right. The night will be scored by the sounds of the talented artisan, DJ RBI a fixture on the DC music scene. Special guests, the Virginia Dons of Last8th.com also to perform along with Richmond's TaiWo. Expect heavy doses of lyrics, rugged tracks, an eclectic mix of styles and delivery or more simply stated - "Beats to the Rhyme is the name of this jam."
