!!! (Chk Chk Chk) were the perfect closer for a perfect Lawn Party 2011, the last of our 22 performances, and this is the final song that they played in their floor-filling set on Friday. The death of producer/rapper Nate Dogg the day before SXSW kicked off this year was hanging over many at the festival, and !!! paid tribute as only they could, celebrating his music and his life with their throbbing version of Dogg's classic "Get Up," which the band had recorded and released as the B-side to their own classic 2005 single, "Take Ecstasy with Me."
