DESCRIPTION:
The annual Tony Williams Scholarship Jazz Festival in Philadelphia has as its namesake a jazz elder, a saxophonist who many expect to be a DRUMMER. (No, this Tony Williams is not the late, great percussionist of the same name.)

But speaking of drums, this video clip was recorded on-site at the festival by a Chicagoan, a regular attendee of the T.W. Festival. Here we have Javon Jordan, the young son of Philly drummer Leon Jordan. The videographer estimates that this recording was done 12 years ago or so which means that this dynamo would now be a teen-ager. Tony is the alto saxophonist in this video.
