Ian Watson's cast resin record features his recording ‘Twin Goat Songs’ originally released on Canadian label Knife In The Toaster.
In the accompanying booklet Watson writes ‘As I started to consider the new sounds, pops and crackles that tiny air bubbles (a problematic symptom of casting resin) might add to the recorded sound on the disc, I realised that these sounds could become further improvised aspects to an end sound, fixed onto the disc as the resin hardens’.
