"Improv is what you do with all the information that is coming to you in this moment.....improvisation means presence and responsiveness to what's really there"
~ Stephen Nachmanovitch

Why: To experience the understanding, joy, responsibility and peace that come from the full use of the human imagination
What:
The Akasha Improv Temple is devoted to free play - to connect to and strengthen your own creative powers by unblocking the obstacles to its natural flow. This is an opportunity to create music, dance, poetry and visual art, as well as to make new connections and bring the art of improvisation into your life. The intention of this evening to draw out your inner improviser and develop the muscle of responding to the creative impulses arising from within you and from your environment. Everyone who comes is a participant, even if you are just dancing fully or listening deeply!

This is a beautiful way to open the body and access the penetrating teachings of one of the greatest Mystics of the 20th century who is a huge inspiration for Akasha Arts. We highly encourage that you come to this before the Improv Temple to deepen your experience.
8:30-11pm Improv Temple - Enter into the creative zone with the music of Pepe Danza, Zamir Dhanji and other amazing world musicians who create a space of improvised world music for you to tap into your own creative expressions.
