MAKE BELIEVE Live in Kalamazoo "Television Cemetery" - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jan 15, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Make Believe was a band I played guitar in between 2004 and 2008. We released 3 full-length records, one EP, one 7-inch, and one 10-inch.

Here we have a live version of the song "Television Cemetery". Twas recorded by Mark at Kraftbrau Brewery in Kalamazoo, MI around the year 2006.

*FUN FACT* = Of the hundreds of times I played this song live I think this is the only time I actually played it how I wanted it to sound...it's a real TUFFY. Luckily Mark the sound-man was good enough to not only record it but he also went out of his way and sent me a CD of the show. Thanks again Mark...I owe you 4 raspberry muffins. I slapped together this little video just now, it's supposed to be like you're watching TV (with commercials). The blacked-out chunks are intended to represent the times your brain shuts-down completely while enjoying your favorite programming. Don't worry, I'm not about to say "Kill Your Television"...the shit exists for a reason, and that reason is people like watching it and would most likely take to the streets with torches if there wasn't anything to stare at after work. I myself like to stare at baseball-games on television...I like when the umpire goes "You're out!" and the player goes "No I'm not, I'm safe!"...and then they start spitting on each-other like grown men upset over the fact they have to wear coordinated pajamas to work.
