JOAN OF ARC "Living Out In The Sea Of Umbrellas" - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jan 16, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Joan of Arc is a band I've played guitar/bass/drums in intermittently (like wiper-blades) for about 20 years now. Joan of Arc was created by Tim Kinsella following the break-up of Cap'n Jazz. I was one of the four original members, a lineup that also included Tim, Erik Bocek and Jeremy Boyle...I was JOA's first drummer (an experiment that lasted only one 7-inch). Post-drummer-boy I became the guitarist and/or bass player depending on which song we were playing. The last time I counted there were 13 full-length albums released by Joan of Arc. In addition to the full-lengths there's also about 20 other JOA related releases floating around the biosphere.

Here we have "Living Out In The Sea Of Umbrellas" from the album "Eventually, All at Once" (2006, Record Label Records). Engineered by Tim Iseler in Buffalo Grove, IL.

OFFICIAL LINEUP (for this song):

Tim Kinsella - Guitar & Vocals
Mike Kinsella - Drums
Nate Kinsella - Cello
Ben Vida - Guitar
Bobby Burg - Percussion
Sam Zurick - Bass

*FUN FACT* = The album cover photograph was taken by Bobby Burg while Make Believe was in a Japanese rain-storm. When it rains in Japan the umbrellas are handed out like candy on Halloween, the catch is you have to return it to one of the million or so storefronts that offer them.
