Every week we invite our favourite DJs to play the club in the corner of our office. Check the video below for how it went down when we invited Paul White and Submerse to play in The Lab.

Submerse releases have ranged from electronica to ambient, future garage to off-kilter hip hop. Previous tracks on labels such as Project: Mooncircle, R&S sister label Apollo Records and DJ sets at nights like Low End Theory have gained the UK artist a dedicated following. Expect a thoroughly unique show, especially as he'll be performing on his Roland SP404, re-creating his tracks alongside other tunes and FX.

Paul White is a hip hop master whose influences can be seen throughout his work. Fresh from producing five tracks on the new Danny Brown album, he's on the cusp of worldwide recognition. His 2009 debut album 'The Strange Dreams Of Paul White' dropped soul samples in favour of psychedelic rock and weird charity shop finds. Fittingly, the most revered alternative hip hop label in the world, Stone's Throw, saw his potential and his next full-length project, 'Paul White & The Purple Brain' was co-released by both One-Handed and Los Angeles-based Now Again, a sister label of Stones Throw Records. Also iconic are the animations of his music videos, created by Plastic Horse, clips of which we will see throughout his Lab session.

After The Lab Submerse and Paul White headed to the music & art fundraising project, Above The Clouds aiming to raise money for Providence Row, a homeless charity in East London that helps tackle the roots of homelessness.
