KNS: The French Project - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 28, 2010
DESCRIPTION:
I had a project for my french class at school, where we had to teach a certain set of verbs in a time frame(past, future, present, far past, etc.) My set of verbs were the irregular past. So I grab my band, Kicks 'N Shitze, and we put together a couple songs for "The French Project"
Sorry for the poor audio quality, we need some actually sound and recording equipment, but I thought I'd post it anyways, so someone might enjoy it.
Lyrics:
Song 1:Forms of Etre

When you talk about yourself, you have to use je and etre becomes "S-U-I-S."
And when you say you, you gotta use tu and etre becomes "E-S."
He and she becomes il and elle and etre becomes "E-S-T."
And a plural you is vous, vous is also formal you, etre is then "E-T-E-S."
While us is nous, and nous is us, believe it or not etre is "S-O-M-M-E-S."
A group of gals is elles, and a group of guys is ils, etre then equals "S-O-N-T."

Song2:MRSDRAVANDERTRAMPP

Song3:Past Participles
(An interpretation of "Closer to the Heart" by Rush.

One must drop the R, put an 'accent' on E
To make a past participle, on a verb with E-R, on a verb with E-R.
You must drop both R and E, and replace them with an U
To form a Past participle, from a verb with R-E, from a verb with R-E.
And Delete the R, but keep the normal I
Past participles from verbs, Ending with I-R, Ending with I-R.
To from a past participle one must know the form
One has to hold it, Closer to the Heart, Closer to the Heart, Closer to your Heart!

Song4:Subject-Verb Agreement

If your talking about one guy you've got to do nothing to your verb.
And if you referring to one lady, you have to add an "e" to the verb.
If you are talking about a group of fellows, you merely put an s at the end.
And if your talking about a group of ladies, you have to add an "E-S" to the verb.
