Over the Rhine at the Emery Theatre - Long Lost Brother - Video
PUBLISHED:  Aug 08, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
On November 11, 2011, the Emery Theatre in Cincinnati, Ohio reopened it's doors under the leadership of the Requiem Project with an evening length gala and concert to show off this one hundred year old venue and give audiences a taste of its new ambitious vision. Tina Manchise and Tara Gordon saw the Emery not only as a world class room to listen to music, but as a hub for a community of artists from Cincinnati and elsewhere to converge, collaborate, and create new work. As part of that first evening, and in the spirit of collaboration at the root of the Requiem Project's mission, local favorites Over the Rhine and Exhale Dance Tribe performed together for three songs. Many thanks to Jerome Wilson and Curtis Films for shooting and editing the video, and to all of the artists who have worked in the space since it was reopened by the Requiem Project.
