DESCRIPTION: This tune was written in the late 1930's by Rodgers and Hart and was part of the 'Babes in Arms' musical. Thought I might give the soprano a whirl on this one. Trying to keep the pitch under control is like herding cats so there are some pitchy parts to be sure.
For those interested, the sax is a Keilwerth SX90II soprano with an Otto Link 7* mouthpiece and an old La Voz reed I had laying around . The recording setup is a Rode NT2-A mic, Focusrite Saffire PRO 24 DSP audio interface, and Macbook Pro running Studio One (ver. 2.6) software by PreSonus. The backing track is one of the Hal Leonard Real Book tracks.
