DESCRIPTION:
Rumba Flamenco original composition, Rumba de Shapira, by flamenco guitar player Ofer Ronen. Composed in, and dedicated to Shapira neighborhood in Tel Aviv. The flamenco rumba is one of the many styles (palos) of flamenco. The rumba flamenca is very influenced by Latin rhythms and harmonies, and since the piece Entre dos Aguas by Paco de Lucia, it was made famous all around the world. Paco de Lucia introduced the guitar improvisation in a rumba flamenco style, when one guitar is playing the rhythm and harmony, and the second guitar is soloing on top of it utilizing the “picado” technique, as you can see and listen in this video. Rumba de Shapira, un tema original de rumba flamenco del guitarrista flamenco Ofer Ronen. Compuesto en el barrio de Shapira de Tel Aviv, y dedicado a este barrio con aires tan flamencos. La rumba flamenca es uno de los muchos palos del flamenco. La rumba flamenca está influida de ritmos y armonías latino americanos. Desde que Paco de Lucia lanzó su tema Entre dos Aguas, la rumba flamenca se hizo famosa por todo el mundo. Paco de Lucia introdujo la improvisación de la guitarra flamenca, cuando una guitarra acompaña en el ritmo, y la otra improvisa encima un solo, utilizando la técnica del “picado”, como puedes ver en este video.
