Little Indian - One Little Indian [Smoking in a Tree] (Bagir-Ba Remix) - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 09, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
Brooklyn producer Bagir-Ba, who previously dropped an EP with Versis, embarked on an ambitious and clearly time-consuming project with Timeless Monk Remixes. He set out to create his own mixtape (as in cassette tape, so this shit is dusty) reusing songs, freestyles, and the like from some of his favorite hip-hop acts. Those include Mos Def, the Pharcyde, the late Capital STEEZ, Ghostface Killah, and Common, among many others. They all come together in the mad-scientist brain of Bagir-Ba.

Including the word 'Timeless' in the album title is fully appropriate because it blends styles from the past, present, and future. This is like stepping into a hip hop time machine, puffing a blunt, and then randomly travelling back and forth through the sands of time.
