www.nhick.com | "Agbiagka, Vintar" was composed in 2009, with lyrics written by my parents, Nick Sr. and Pureza Pacis, and vocals recorded by Vic Omila. This is a nostalgic song about Vintar, the town where I was born in Northern Philippines (Ilocos Norte). With a population of around 29,000, this quaint town is basically agricultural and surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers. After nearly twenty years, I had the chance to visit in 2011. I took tons of photos especially of the countryside: the mountains in Surong, Bislak River, Solcoc Falls, my old house, family and friends and others. It was such a binding reunion with my birthplace - no matter where I go, it is still the only place where I will never feel lost.
