DESCRIPTION:
Not often that you hear a fiddle driven version of St. James Infirmary, but that's exactly what you get here. A very unusual and haunting rendition. I could not find a proper picture of the Dixie Ramblers, so I just stuck up one of guitarist Lewis McDaniel, who was known to have played with them for awhile. The other picture is of the Hackberry Ramblers, who have nothing to do with this video but look very cool.

These Dixie Ramblers, by the way, have no relation to the band the Dillards were originally in of the same name.
