DESCRIPTION:
Donna Loren singing her 1965 Capitol release of "So, Do The Zonk" at The Echo in Echo Park, CA on 4/13/13. This sold-out show was a benefit for the folks at Norton Records whose headquarters were wiped out by Hurricane Sandy. Donna is backed up by the amazing Deke Dickerson and his All Star Frat & Garage Band featuring Chris Sprague on drums. Donna challenged someone to come up with a real dance for The Zonk. The willing participant was DJ Howie Pyro and "The Zonk" was finally born after all these years!
