3rd track from "In The Nick Of Time" (1979). A breakup song for the ages, this beautiful duet reached #9 on the U.S. Adult Contemporary chart, #36 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and #96 on the Black Singles chart.

And, btw, I decided to include the lyrics because: 1) they were always a little hard for me to understand, 2) I couldn't find any videos with the lyrics already, and 3) the lyric websites have the words all screwed up. Seriously!

In the Nick of Time was much more highly polished than Nicolette Larson's first effort. Here, Nicolette Larson is backed up by a crack team of L.A. studio musicians, and the results are sort of mixed... "Let Me Go, Love" ...comes off as an almost too slick cut for the listener to grab hold of. Culled from the late '70s Hollywood slick machine, In the Nick of Time could use a little dirt to help make it all sound just a bit more real.
