DESCRIPTION:
"The Seventy Seven Guardians" from the album "Jachol Ve Tehila" - 1995

AMEN CORNER was born in Curitiba, early 1992. Things at that time happened fast and by the middle of that year, demo "Eternal Prophecies" was released. By the end of the year, the same demo was re-released in 7 '' format by Hellion Records. The line-up was: Paulista (vocals), Tito (guitars), Mané (guitars), Fabrício Domingues (bass) and Paulo Costa (drums).

In the following year, the band signed with Cogumelo Records and the début album, "Fall, Ascension, Domination" was released. Fabricio decided to leave the band during recordings, and Cleio (former Hecatomb) was his subtitute, who has also taken part in the recordings. The album had a great response throughout Brazil and abroad, being rated first in sales by the defunct magazine "Bizz". In 1994, the classic 12 '' LP "The final Celebration" successfully hits the stores. In 1995, the thematic "Yachol Vê Tehilá" (which means power and glory in Hebrew) was released.

With the end of the contract with Cogumelo, Mané, Cléio and Paulo Costa decided to leave the band by person reasons. So, Paulista and Tito started their search for new musicians and rehearsal rooms (at that time it was a hard task) and, eventually, Narbeurs (guitars), Solfieri (bass) e Osculum Infame (drums) were chosen to join the horde. In 1998 the band signed with Demise Records, and the mini album "Darken In Quir Haresete" was born, achieving great success by the public and media in general. From then on, Tito was nicknamed "Murmúrio" and Paulista "Sucoth Benoth".

In 2000, Sucoth Benoth decided to leave the band willing to start another project. However, his friendship with Murmúrio and respect by his contribution remained intact along the years. In 2007, a contract with Maléficas Produções is signed and album "Lucification" is released with line-up: Murmúrio (guitars); Erthal (guitars); Solfieri (bass); Lokiam Satanás War Comander (vocals); Anderson (drums).

Early this year, Solfieri decided to leave the horde and Murmúrio felt it was time for a change and that is the step stone of Sucoth Benoth's return to the band. In 2008, Cogumelo Records is presenting fans a re-release of historical "Fall, Ascension, Domination", including the bonus track "The final celebration", thoroughly remastered and with a brand new graphic layout. Who is a knower of this mythic band will surely be satisfied to have this item added to the collection and who still does not know the art of Amen Corner will have the chance to get immersed in the aura of this living fortress of the Brazilian Black Metal scene. AMEN CORNER ARE: Sucoth Benoth - vocals Murmurio - lead and rhythm guitar Mortum - lead guitar War Master - drums Nocturnal Alastor Demon - bass Keep tuned...
