It seems like all great musicians have one thing in common, the mission of triumphing over all adversities that lie before them to strive for where they want to be.
In December of 1998 is when it all began for Nemesiz. He joined a group called Bushtown Clan. Over the next couple of months he was on demand to perform at numerous shows. On the road with the clan he met Kerry a.k.a. Streetz together they formed the DJ duo C.A.P. Within a couple months C.A.P made underground history, creating various unique mixes in Dominica and St. Maarten. In December of 2000, The Clan dropped their local debut; around the same time that C.A.P. dropped their debut mix C.A.P. Weve Just Begun Vol. 1.
After 2 ½ years in Dominica it was time to move back to St. Maarten. There he entered into his third high school, where he then met Spec, Infinite, and Nonchalant. Together they formed a group called the UndaGround Rebelz. Winning talent shows and performing here and there, they gained a buzz and were known for staging high-quality shows.
In 2003 Nemesiz left St. Maarten for The Netherlands to further his Education and try out the road to stardom. In 2004 he met Maxim Shram and started working on various tracks, after months of working together 6 tracks were selected to go on the demo; "The Prequel 2 The Sequel" Which means "A Taste of What's 2 Come" With the release of the demo in 2005 respect was gained for producing quality music. In December of that year he met Mark Bannister, and together they shot two music videos on St. Maarten. In 2006 he took things to the next level by starting C.A.P Records, adding Bandit & Endless as the first artist under the new movement and simultaneously dropping “Tha TakeOvA vol. 1” mixtape . In September of that year Nemesiz released the first single “The Remedy” which aired on the Dutch National T.V. Station “The Box” and was in rotation for 3 months. It gained a huge buzz among his core audience and went on to circulate heavily on the Internet.
With a scheduled performance on BET’s 106 & Park that was later cancelled, 2007 saw shaky beginnings but quickly came back on track. Nemesiz dropped “Tha TakeOvA vol. 2” in April ’07 which included the track “Suck A Tool” that quickly became the fan favorite. The mixtape circulated in St. Maarten, Holland and the U.S. (mainly New York). In that same month Nemesiz flew out to New York to take a shot at big business. Within the two weeks spent in New York he made an appearance on BET’s 106 & Park, recorded a track with International Recording Artist “Junior Reid” and had a meeting with a top A&R at Virgin Records. 2008 saw business stepping up once again. Nemesiz collaborated with Dj Outkast to throw the first ever double release party on July 10th at Bliss Night Club. C.A.P TakeOvA vol. 3 was widely accepted and showed definite progress once again. Also scheduled is the release of the 2nd official single “Break Ya Back”. Nemesiz is currently working hard on his Debut Album “The Untold Legacy” with no official released planned.
