Nonchalant--



British-born rap artist Nonchalant-- is turning on the rhymes for a growing fan base in the U.K. and the wider European market.



Hailing from the Dutch Caribbean island of St. Maarten, this dynamic performer lived practically all of his life in the Caribbean before taking a short stint in the United States, Nonchalant-- with a string of beats, stored punchlines and five journals of lyrics made moves to his birth place London, England in his search for fame and fortune.



Nonchalant-- has performed at The Hackney Empire, one of London’s biggest stages as one half of The Synectics, a lyrically underground group he helped form while attending College.



He has also performed in several shows up and down the country, perfecting his own brand of raw bravado hip-hop, a style that has been developed in the Caribbean with a heavy urban american influence.



Nonchalant--, formerly known as Dynamixx has been involved in music since the tender age of 6 when he first began taking piano lessons which was short lived but would come back to haunt him later in life as music would later take a front seat in paving his future goals.



Nonchalant-- has developed a distinctive vocal range, lyrical proficiency and an equally distinctive stage appearance that puts him beyond his years as a new performer to the British music scene.



While Nonchalant-- was still at school in the Caribbean, he teamed up with three other rappers: Infinite, Spec and Nemesiz to form the rap group 'Da UndaGroundRebelz' (U.G.R.). The artists began performing at local talent shows and school competitions creating a buzz which grew into an island fan base and a good following. U.G.R. soon went on to winning interscholastic trophies as well as opening for such international acts as DMX, Bow Wow & Lloyd Banks to name a few.



While in England, Nonchalant-- is keen to extend his range as a performer by adding studio production to his repertoire. In search of professional musical knowledge Looking to silence the critics, Nonchalant-- is currently attending the prestigious SAE Music Institute in the U.K. where he is in the process of .



In Late 2006, Nonchalant-- began a production company with fellow producers ProdUKtionz & Musik (Jamie Lavers & Ying Fay Pak) and a record company – Marquee Production Company (MPC) and Controversy Records respectively as a first step to building his own musical empire.



At the youthful age of 20, a great future lies ahead for this young rap-star who produces for acts as well as makes his own beats, writes his own lyrics and others as he is also a ghost/songwriter and records acts at his own home studio, his sights are set on the bright future ahead.
