Fast gaining a reputation as "Dublin's sexiest band", The Pulpit are a three-piece synth-surf outfit, comprising of Laura Lovejoy on guitar and vocals, Evan O' Leary on synthesizer and Neil Mooney on drums.
Blending influences as varied as The Cramps and The Pet Shop Boys, The Pulpit's unique sound is a cocktail of surf guitar and electro-pop with a delivery that's pure rock'n'roll.
To date, The Pulpit have recorded one EP and performed extensively throughout Dublin, as well as at festivals including KnockanStockan, Trash City and Taste Of Dublin. This year, The Pulpit have also been selected to play at Milk 2010 - Europe's first outdoor LGBT music festival.
With a notorious live set that is filled with explosive energy and an inexplicable feeling of sexual deviancy, The Pulpit's number one aim as a live band is to arouse, entice and excite their audience.
