Morning Omen were born in Naples, Italy, in 2008 under the artistic supervision of Matteo Ridolfini. The first idea was about forming a band which drew its inspiration from Opeth's Scandinavian progressive death metal mixed with strong gothic and doom influences which are more peculiar to Novembre from Italy. The result of this condition was "Things We Left Behind", a demo-EP recorded by Michele Pirozzi at Nero Sound Studio between March and April 2009 made up of five tracks written by Matteo Ridolfini as from 2006. Since 2009 Morning Omen have been working on their debut album of which the draft of the songs has been just completed by now.
