DESCRIPTION:
Mustang Lightning - Hank's Last Ride - Pipeline - Skylark Lounge, Denver, CO - June 18, 2010 - the band here is Phil Deville (guitar) in the middle, Aaron Swilley (guitar), Lance Bakemeyer (bass), Tim Thies (drums). The start of this medley prefigures Pipeline and then switches to Mustang Lightning's Hank's Last Ride before returning to Pipeline. Swilley's solo in Pipeline is perhaps based on Link Wray's Jack the Ripper.
Phil Deville began Mustang Lightning in Denver but then moved the band to New Orleans and later Texas.

Deville has been recording a new album in Denver this Spring and he and his colleagues put this show together as a sort of 20th anniversary celebration of Mustang Lightning.
