Roots Atao is a french sound system from Brittany. He plays roots and dub music since more than ten years and he is often invested in various projects alongside Stand High Patrol like "Dubadub Residance" or more recently "Telerama Dub Festival".

In February 2014 the sound presents his label "Roots Atao Productions" with a first 12inch 45rpm. This release is the result of several collaborations with artists from western France. On the West side, the female singer Lali sings a traditional love song from brittany on a Munky Lee's roots stepper Riddim. This track comes with its dub version. The East side of the record is dedicated to Double Doctor's work. It gathers two versions of a stepper dub mixed by Digital Noar. With its old school sleeve, its local artists, and maybe the first stepper tune ever voiced in breton language, this record is a surprising and delightful blend of Brittany, roots and dub music.
