DESCRIPTION:
I wrote this remix the year following the attacks on the trade center. Everyone seemed to cope with it in their way.. I wrote a remix. It took me 1 yr to complete. This song is my baby. It is what I felt and saw through the years. On the 1 year anniversary, I got it on the radio. Then, Shock and Awe began, so I went back and added to it. The song is 9:11 long for obvious reasons.
Well,then I found YOUTUBE... I started to make videos, like my RED SOX tribute on my myspace page; It would be here on youtube, but its 11 minutes long... I searched and searched to find video clips, not a slide show to put with my song. I used over 100 youtube users videos to make mine. Kind of like If youtube was a kitchen, I looked through the cabinets until I had the ingredients I needed to put my song to video the way I saw it when I wrote it.
My thanks to all those in this video for being strong people and doing their jobs. My heart goes out to those who lost loved ones and those that are still loosing loved ones in the on going war. I am from Boston, and a diehard Red Sox fan, yet on 9/11/01, I think we were all New Yorkers.
I tried to make the video through "their eyes".. I wanted the firemen to bee seen as the HEROS they are. And the Military to look welll,,,the way they always look...AWESOME!
I know people have their opinions of President Bush...On that day he was our rock when he gave that address at night, and that's how he is portrayed.
