Aardvark is a not-for-profit organisation that runs a unique program bringing young musicians with long-term or serious illness together with professional musicians and music therapists to write, record and perform original music.
The Aardvark program allows young people to express themselves creatively, develop their music skills and improve their self esteem. Most importantly, it gives them something other than their illness to identify with, and in doing so provides a sense of belonging, pride in their achievements, and aspirations for the future.
