MODILL

K-Kruz and RacecaR are Modill. They met in the 90's through early work in the live Hip-Hop band, Freebasic. After the band disbanded, the two decided to collaborate and further their mutual careers by forming the duo now known as Modill. After a few years of intensive studio sessions and amassing a nearly 50 song demo, they would be signed to EV Productions. The freshman release of Midnight Green in 2006, would garner both national and later, global attention from critics and fans alike. They would follow-up with two more digital releases, Outtakes and C-Sides(2006) and Modill(2009), that cemented their presence in the Independent Hip-Hop world



K-KRUZ:
As a producer, K-Kruz has worked with Dave from De La Soul, Mos Def, Truth Enola, Diverse, One Be Lo, RacecaR (as Modill), Longshot, Psalm One, Adad, Iomos Marad, Capital D, Verbal Kent, and many, many more. As an engineer, K-Kruz has worked as the in house engineer for all EV records releases since 2003/2004 including mixing and mastering. Kruz has also done mixing and/or mastering work for Chocolate Industries, All Natural inc, Molemen Records, Galapagos 4, Gravel Records, Organik Recordings and many other independent artists and labels. RACECAR:
RacecaR has toured multiple times nationally and released various projects(both nationally and globally) to critical acclaim. He has performed with and been part of a veritable cornicopia of who's who in both the local and national scene.
